Registration and the Student Assignment Process

Assignments for the 2009/10 School Year

Parents of student new to Lee County must visit one of the Student Assignment Offices most convenient for them for registration and assignment to school. School assignment will be made at the time the application is submitted based on school availability.    Click here for Registration Requirements and Zone Maps.

Parents of students that have moved to a new zone within Lee County must visit a student assignment office with proof of their new address in order to obtain a school within their student assignment zone. (Click here for proof of address information and Zone Maps).  School assignments will be made at the time the application is submitted based on school availability.

Parents of children who will be age five on or before September 1st, 2009 should apply for kindergarten for the 2009/10 school year as well. Parents need to register their child even if they have an older child already in school – there are NO automatic assignments. Please be aware that for 09-10 school year every incoming kindergartener and first grader needs to have two Varicella Immunizations.  The Student Assignment offices are open 9 a.m.-4 p.m. at the following locations:
