Registration Information for Students Who are
Transferring to another School within the
School District of Lee County

Florida Law states that whoever knowingly provides false information in writing to a public servant in the performance of his or her duties commits a second degree misdemeanor punishable by a fine of up to $500.

Welcome to The School District of Lee County - Becoming a world-class school system. Please take the following steps to transfer your student to another school in the District:
  1. Review Registration Requirements.
     
  2. Download and complete the Student Registration Form (required for all students).
     
  3. Determine the school zone in which you live.
     
  4. Download and complete the appropriate zone Student Assignment Application for each registering student from the following options:

  5. Complete the School Records Release form if your student was previously enrolled in another school by clicking here.
  6. Gather all required documents and completed forms and take them to one of the following Student Assignment Offices to register your student.

Things You Need to Know
  • Children entering kindergarten must be 5 years old on or before September 1 of the school year they are entering kindergarten.
     
  • Children must  successfully complete kindergarten before entering the first grade.
     
  • For information regarding Head Start Pre-Kindergarten Programs call 239-332-2512.
