Student Assignment

Registration Information for Students Who are
New to the District
Welcome to The School District of Lee County - Becoming a world-class school system. Please take the following steps to register your student:
  1. Review Registration Requirements.
     
  2. Download and complete the Student Registration Form (required for all students).
     
  3. Determine the school zone in which you live.
     
  4. Download and complete the appropriate zone Student Assignment Application for each registering student from the following options:

  5. Complete the School Records Release form if your student was previously enrolled in another school.
     
  6. Gather all required documents and completed forms and take them to one of the following Student Assignment Offices to register your student.

Things You Need to Know
  • Children entering kindergarten during the 2010-11 school year must be 5 years old on or before September 1, 2010.
     
  • Children must successfully complete kindergarten before entering the first grade.
     
  • For information regarding Head Start Pre-Kindergarten Programs call 239-332-2512.
